My paintings are inspired by a love
of light, atmosphere and movement.
Subjects include landscape,
townscape, and still life. I look for
images which inspire a loose and
spontaenous technique. Above all I
aim for a unified composition of
tone, colour and texture where
excitement is generated by the
unpredictability of watercolour.
